ComMUSICation's mission is to amplify young voices and cultivates skills for success through equitable access to music, collaboration, and opportunity. Vision Youth use their voices to lead and make change, inspiring and inspired by their community. Core Values Collaboration: ComMUSICation utilizes community partners to bolster resources and maximize collective impact. We make decisions collaboratively partnering with youth, families, and community. Intention: ComMUSICation is dedicated to musical excellence and selecting purposeful music and performances that empower our youth to be actively engaged in their community and use their voices in a beautiful, healthy way. Evolving: ComMUSICation believes we are a never-ending evolving entity that can always better ourselves and will never stop striving for excellence. We measure our impact and evaluate programming and staff regularly. Youth-centered: ComMUSICation nurtures a youth's development as a respectful, engaged young person first and foremost. Youth first, music second. Community-based: we are rooted in our community, both by location and by representation having parents, community partners, and community members on our board.

Owner/Studio Director/Instructor Cheryl Lauersdorf - 30 years teaching experience, Member of Dance Masters of America Assistant Director/Instructor Melissa Dabney - 10 years teaching experience Two dance rooms with WOOD - SPRUNG floors!!! A true must in preventing shin-splints and other damage to a dancer's body. General Information: Registration by phone during August-open registration lasts through October for regular dance classes. Special programs have revolving registration schedule, so contact the studio for information. Studio doors open last week of August. Classes begin September 5th. Call 281-422-9341 TODAY to be placed on the Registration Letter Mailing List, or to receive information about our studio and the many programs we offer! Our Annual Recital: Music, choreography, and costumes are all age-appropriate! There are two Recital performances held in June. Tickets are free! Students age 3 to 4th grade are placed in the "A" Recitals. (The older students and former dancers take care of the backstage needs so the parents are able to remain in the audience, fully enjoying their child's performances.) Students 5th grade and older are placed in the "B" Recitals.

Style Dance Studio

Style Dance Studio startades 2006 som koncept hos Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan. Danskurser för alla åldrar från 2 år och uppåt, i en stor mängd olika inriktningar och nivåer! I vårt ordinarie utbud erbjuder vi kurser terminsvis under våren och hösten. Vi anordnar även workshops, kortare kurser och shower. I Lund har vi två egna stora danslokaler. Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan är ett av Sveriges största studieförbund med uppdrag att skapa en meningsfull fritid och att alla människor ska kunna ta del av nytt lärande och skapande genom att gå i en studiecirkel.
